About me

CV

I recently earned my master’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago, with a concentration in Social Psychology. At the University of Chicago, I have been working with Dr. Fan Yang on projects regarding people’s judgments of meaning and happiness in life.

My research interests center on the motivation and social cognition in social and moral contexts. I am interested in the motivational, emotional, and social factors that help people overcome their limits and self-interests.

Prior to the University of Chicago, I graduated from the University of California, San Diego, where I conducted my honors project with Dr. Kristen Duke and Dr. On Amir on the decaying process of guilt. I was also a research assistant in the UCSD Emotion Lab, working on projects regarding emotion regulation and empathy. I value open science practices and am committed to promoting open science in my research.
